PROSUP – Support Program for Graduate Studies in Private Institutions

The Support Program for Graduate Studies in Private Institutions (PROSUP) aims to support students in *stricto sensu* graduate programs offered by Private Higher Education Institutions. This contributes to the formation and maintenance of excellence and efficiency in training high-level human resources, essential for the country’s development.

Both scholarships and tuition waivers are granted based on the candidates’ rankings in the selection processes held at the beginning of the year.

PDSE – Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad

This program supports the training of high-level human resources by granting sandwich doctorate scholarships abroad for doctoral programs recognized by CAPES.

PDSE was established in 2011, replacing the *Doutorado Sanduíche Balcão* and the *Programa de Doutorado no País com Estágio no Exterior (PDEE)*. The change aimed to streamline the implementation process for doctoral internships abroad.

PNPD – National Post-Doctoral Program/CAPES

The PNPD/CAPES (National Post-Doctoral Program by CAPES) is an institutional grant program that funds post-doctoral internships in *stricto sensu* academic graduate programs (PPG) recommended by CAPES.

This benefit is awarded according to the number of quotas available at the Higher Education Institution (IES), and the selection process is announced on the institutional page.
