YOUNG RESEARCHER – FAPESP

The Young Researcher (FAPESP) modality aims to support research projects that favor the nucleation of new groups and the decentralization of the state research system, developed under the responsibility of a researcher with exceptional performance for their career stage. Support is provided in the form of Research Aid, and Young Researchers who are not yet employed by the research institution may be granted a Young Researcher Scholarship.

The purpose of the Young Researcher (JP) Research Aid is to support a scientifically sound, excellent quality research project from which the nucleation of new research groups in institutions that do not yet have a research tradition, or the creation of new research lines in institutions that already have a consolidated tradition, can be expected. It also aims to encourage the attraction, under internationally competitive conditions, of young researchers with demonstrated international research experience after completing their Doctorate, who are still in a phase of professional affirmation, to research institutions in the state of São Paulo.
